Fort Drum Embroidered Patch

This 3 inch embroidered patch was designed by me as part of some merch experiments that I still haven't gotten around to finishing! It depicts Fort Drum as well as its date of commission and surrender in 1942. 

In particular, this patch was designed as a digital file and then transferred to an online shop who converted it into an embroidered patch with an iron-on backing. 

The problem I had was that each patch ended up quite expensive so I've not been able to find a viable way to create more easily. The patch itself is beautiful however and would look great on a bag or other fabric.
