Last Call for HMS Edinburgh

This is, without a doubt, my favourite book on the subject of the Sinking of HMS Edinburgh. Pearce tells a thrilling story of the Edinburgh's final battle, drawing on first hand accounts and testimony from the time. As well as diving into the gold, it also tells the story of the crew after the battle - something that I was unable to fit into my original video on the subject.

I think this is one of the best accounts of a WWII Naval battle ever written.
